Chad Lawson Cooper
is an American actor, director, screenwriter, playwright, producer, and songwriter, specializing in the gospel genre. Chad, along with his wife Alicia Robinson Cooper, wrote and produced the national stage play Church Mess, the Play. This play is currently still touring and is the longest-running touring gospel stage play in the nation. Chad is known for both creating and performing the character of Pastor William Gray, in Church Mess, The Play. Cooper also creates films, some produced as live recordings of stage plays, and others professionally filmed, using full sets and locations. with full editing.
Chad Cooper's other renowned play, Family Mess is currently in movie production. Chad has worked with multiple Grammy award-winning artists and has himself appeared on multiple national television outlets, radio stations, and magazines. Chad Cooper, who is an alumnus of FAMU, has also been an ordained Elder in The Church of God In Christ, since 1993.
Chad Cooper Pastored for 12 years in Tallahassee and Miami, FL. He has been married to the love of his life Alicia Robinson Cooper, for 21 years; together they have 3 beautiful children, Celebrity Cooper, Chad Cooper II, and Caleb Ethan Cooper. Chad Cooper is currently touring with the critically acclaimed "Justice on Trial, Black Lives Matter, Too" The Play.
